Ladies and Gentlemen of thejury, the law's an ***, however, it is black and white (for the most part). reading the wildlife act it is apparent that the mode of delivering an arrow into game (deer excepted) is what makes bow hunting illegal not the arrow itself.
exhibit A the Crosman Airbow, currently legal in the UK (for how long who knows) it fires an arrow.
Can you hunt with it?
My view is yes, a friend of mine who has studied law says yes, but then added, it would proberbly end up as a test case as some animal hugging charity would made a big stink about it.

If anyone has one and has used or intends to use it in the field let us know.

Ican legally kill a rabbit with a knife, an airgun, a firearm, a shotgun, a boomarang, an axe (if only my aim were so good), a catapult, a trap even an arrow as long as it didn't come from a bow. As I said the law's a ***!

May your arrow fly true and your mind be at peace.
